Sattelkopfsteig trail to Unterer Sattelkopf
Starting point: Apart Rubin (grid square H4)
Character: hike on wide vehicle track and easily walkable ascent
Description: On Bifangweg trail no. 4 until crossing (S031, 1/2 hour; benches and hammocks), take the first wide gravel trail on the right side, then follow the Family Trail through the Beutelwald forest until you reach
the crossing (S051). Walk the last meters on the vehicle track until you are at the Sunliner mountain terminal. Walk on the Panorama Genussweg (Panorama Enjoyment Trail) towards the Komperdell (Kölner Haus) a few
meters until you reach the crossing at the Sattelkopf (S251). On the path no. 8 walk across wonderful alp flowers and a sparse forest until you arrive on the Unterer Sattelkopf (S251). Connection options: 1. To the
Oberen Sattelkopf – changing into alpine terrain (path no. 11). 2. Pass the alp fields at the same hight to the Komperdell in western direction, to the Möseralm in northern direction.
