DID YOU KNOW ...

STEPPING IN THE SAME LAKE TWICE

… the Högsee lake, situated at an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level, has two sides to it? In winter, it’s a reservoir; in summer, a bathing lake. Serfaus has pioneered this approach: when the Högsee was created, it was Austria’s first lake with two functions.

HIGH PROOF

… that an ancient grain was recently revived, and you can even enjoy it as a refreshing tipple? The master distiller Gerhard Maass from Prutz has created his FISSKY IMPERIAL in partnership with Bergbahnen Fiss-Ladis. It is a single-malt WHISKY made from Fisser Imperial Gerste, a type of barley with a long tradition. Have you had a sip yet?

ENJOY THE VIEW

… that climbers in Ladis simply have the better views? Everyone who enjoys scaling rocks in the open air will love the three short-yet-thrilling via ferrata courses on the quartzite rock face underneath the towering Laudeck castle. The views of the opposite side of the valley and Berneck castle will make any climber’s heart beat faster. Impressive, isn’t it?
