Obladis via Faltriweg trail
Starting point: community hall at village centre (grid square E3)
Character: A mule track, continually ascending. First segment identical with trail no. 2 and trail no. 33.
Description: As on trail no. 33. At the crossing with trail no. 2, go on the main trail straight ahead for a short bit, then at the serpentine, turn right (L001). Take the Ochsenleite trail (crossing of the Explorer's Trail) which leads to a flatter terrace of meadows. From here, go to the crossing in Edlachwald forest (F006a). Walk right down on trail no. 3 to the Villa (L016) and to Obladis (L065), while trail no. 34 leads slightly to the right up to the Schönegg (L020). The left trail no. 3 leads up to the Falterjöchl (F006, beautiful viewpoint spot) and further on to Fiss (F008).
Roundabout trails:
Take trail no. 34 to the crossing in the Edlachwald forest (F006a), then go right as described above to the Villa (L016), from there take the trail to the sulphur springs and to Obladis (L065). Descent on the Wasserwandersteig (L014, Water Trail) to Ladis. Total walking time: just under 2 hours. Take trail no. 34 to the Schönegg (L020) and from there, take forest track no. 6 or forest track no. 5 (L018) to Obladis (L065) and one of the trails back down to Ladis. Total walking time: 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 hours.
